What happens to your file

What we receive
We receive the email used for access, the spreadsheet you upload, temporary extracted workbook data, the generated report, and basic transaction and service records. Stripe handles payment details; Excelorator does not receive your full card number.
How it is used
The file and extracted data are used to produce your requested analysis, validate cited cells, display the private report, and answer the limited follow-up questions offered with that report. We do not sell workbook contents or use them to build advertising profiles.
Service providers
OpenAI processes the workbook data used for automated analysis. Resend sends access and report emails. Stripe processes checkout. ChatGPT Sites provides the application runtime, database, and temporary file storage.
Retention and deletion
The original uploaded file is deleted after parsing and the analysis request begins. OpenAI's stored background response is deleted after Excelorator retrieves it. The private link expires after 48 hours. Temporary extracted data and report content are removed during expired-record cleanup, or sooner when you use the Delete control. Email and payment metadata may remain for transaction, fraud-prevention, and service administration.
